Ceduna, Port Lincoln, Port Augusta, Port Pirie

A la sortie du désert nous avons donc fait une halte à Ceduna, première ville (3000 habitants) du coté South Australia et poste frontière de cet état. Après avoir facilement passé une douane inter-état très cool (Bonjour avez vous des fruits et légumes? Non, bon, ben allez y!), mise en place pour lutter contre la "fruit fly" (mouche qui se met dans les fruits pourris) ainsi que quelques maladies qui attaquent la pomme de terre par exemple. ) Nous avons dormi dans un camping payant en bord de plage. Après une bonne nuit de sommeil, nous nous sommes rendus compte que notre route était loin d'être finie. En effet, bien que nous soyons sortis du désert, la route jusqu'à Port Lincoln était encore longue: 400 kilomètres. Soit une grosse demi-journée de route avec un Scooby n'allant pas plus vite que 90km/h (vitesse de pointe :) )

At the end of the desert we stopped in Ceduna, first city (3000 inhabitants) on the South Australian side and frontier post of this state. After having crossed easily the very cool customs (hi! Do you have some fruits or vegetables? No? Ok, you can go!), settle here to fight the fruit fly (fly which go in rotten fruits) and against few diseases which attacks potatoes for example, we have slept in a paying camping on the sea border. After a good sleep, we have seen that the end of our way was really far. In fact, despite the fact that we were out of the desert, the road to Port Lincoln were still very long: 400 kilometers, so a big half day on the road with one Scooby which don't go more quick than 90km/hr. (maximum speed.) 

Arrivés à Port Lincoln, petite ville de 14 000 habitants, et après avoir fait un petit tour en ville, nous nous sommes attelés à chercher une camping area (gratuite) pour la nuit.

Arrived in Port Lincoln, little city of 14000 inhabitants, and after have a little walk in the city we searched a (free) camping area for the night. 

Nous nous sommes retrouvés juste derrière la Marina de Port Lincoln, dans un joli petit coin au bord d'un bras de mer avec une eau plutôt chaude ( + ou - 25 degrès).

We went just behind Port Lincoln Marina, on a pretty place near to an inlet where the water was hot (nearly 25°C)

Le lendemain matin, nous avons repris la route (encore 400 kilomètres) pour remonter sur Port Augusta, ville de 15 000 habitants et pourtant beaucoup plus grosse que Port Lincoln. Nous y sommes arrivés sous une chaleur torride et en traversant une plaine dans laquelle nous nous attendions à voir débarquer cowboys et indiens à cheval chassant le bison au lasso...

The following morning, we hit the road again for 400km to Port Augusta, city of 15000 inhabitants but really bigger than Port Lincoln. We are arrived in the city in a scorching heat and through one valley which looked like the American far west. 

Port Augusta est la 3e plus grande ville de l'état du South Australia, après Adélaide  et Whyalla. Nous avons pu y visiter le Arid Land Botanic Garden; réserve de plantes et d'animaux du Bush aride de l'Australie (entre autres serpents, bobtails, araignées, et lézards en tout genre) ou nous avons "escaladé" une dune de sable rouge et pu voir un lac de sel.

Port Augusta is the 3rd biggest city in South Australia after Adelaide and Whyalla. We visited the Arid Land Botanic Garden: which it's a reserve of plants and arid bush wildlife of Australia (among other: snakes, bobtail, spiders and every kind of lizard) where we climb up a red sand dune and can see one lake of salt. 

Nous avons ensuite continué notre chemin vers Adélaïde en descendant sur Port Pirie et nous sommes arrêtés pour la nuit à Port Germain (sans grand intérêt touristique à par la plus grande jeté en bois d'Australie.)

After, we have continued our way towards Adelaide passing by Port Pirie and Port Germain where we stopped for the night (without touristic interest except the most longer wood jetty of Australia)
