Les french invaders sont desormais 3.  Et oui, Nous avons un nouveau compagnon de voyage !

Il s’appelle Scooby, et ce n’est pas un chien ! C’est un van !

French invaders are now 3 ! Yep, we have a new trip companion ! 

His name is Scooby, and that’s not a dog: That’s a van ! 

Quand on achète un van, ou une voiture en Australie, il y a un petit (gros) détail à savoir. En Australie, l’équivalent de notre carte grise s’appelle une « registration » ou « rego ». La grosse différence avec notre carte grise française, c’est que le rego se renouvelle tous les ans, et c’est pas donné ! Le prix que vous devez payer est calculé par rapport aux caractéristiques du véhicule et de l’état dans lequel il est enregistré et du prix auquel il a été acheté. L’avantage est que lorsque que vous achetez un véhicule déjà enregistré, le rego reste. Il accompagne la voiture. 

When you buy a van, or a car in Australia, there is a tiny (big) detail to know. In Australia, the equivalent of French “carte grise” (the paper that make you the owner of the vehicle) is called a registration or rego. The big difference with our French “carte grise” is that the rego have to be renewed each year, and very expensive! The price you have to pay is calculated with the characteristics of your vehicle, the state where it is registered, and the price you’ve paid for it. 

The advantage is that when you buy a vehicle with a rego, the rego stay with it. It come with the car.
